Before you Start
1. Open the box carefully to confirm all parts, assembly kit and tools are included. You should have the following;
2. DO NOT MIX parts of chairs. Chairs are hand made and alignment holes may be slightly different.
3. Assembly should ideally be performed on a smooth padded table surface.
1. Remove Chair Back and Front Leg assemblies from the box. Using the glue provided, place a small amount of glue into each of the top holes on the Chair Back and Front Leg assemblies (4 holes total)
2. Remove the support cross bars that feature interior metal threading and two (2) that are standard wood materials. Ensure the metal threaded cross bars are placed in the LOWER position of the chair with the wood cross bars being inserted into the top holes (the ones you’ve applied glue to). Firmly insert all four cross bars into the front/back leg assemblies.
3. Install the four (4) matching threaded allen head bolts into the threaded cross bars on the front/back leg assemblies. Finger tighten these bolts only so that they keep the front/back leg assemblies together. (you will tighten these up later)
4. Next, apply a small amount of glue into each of the two (2) larger holes on the underside of the solid wood seat. These holes will receive the front leg assembly. Align the seat in the proper position and firmly attach the seat to the front legs. A rubber mallet with gentle tapping may be helpful.
5. From your hardware kit, remove the two (2) threaded sleeves and insert them into the two (2) smaller openings on the back underside of the seat. Be sure to place the sleeve so that the slotted end is facing OUT towards the bottom of the seat.
6. Using a flat head screwdriver, adjust the position of the threaded sleeve so that the side hole of the sleeve is aligned with the hole of the back leg assembly. Insert the longer, allen head bolt from the back, through the back assembly and into the threaded sleeve. Using the allen wrench, tighten these bolts firmly but please allow for additional tightening after confirming the seat is perfectly level.
7. With all bolts inserted and firmly attached, make sure the chair seat is level with the ground. Then use the allen wrench to fully tighten all six (6) of the bolts.
8. Re-inspect the chair seat to confirm that the legs are completely inserted into the front holes of the seat. Using a screwdriver or light duty drill, install the corner metal brackets into both the seat bottom and chair legs using the screws provided. Fully tighten to ensure added stability and long term durability.
9. Upon completion, be sure to allow appropriate drying time for the glue (suggested 24 hrs) prior to first rental use.
